One of my favorite things I get to do each year as the Elk City Superintendent, is to participate in the exit interviews with the Elk City High School Senior Leadership Class. Each year I will hear from graduating seniors as they tell me how much they know the community of Elk City supports them and wants them to be successful. What a great legacy for our students to know and feel the support of the adults around them!
In 2022, Elk City Public Schools was desperate for funding to provide new transportation for our students. Just like the graduating students, I am grateful to live in a community that supports our school and wants the best for our kids. The Transportation Bond of 2022, provided 6 new yellow route buses and 3 new white activity buses. I wanted to share a photo of the last bus purchased with the 2022 Bond. The last bus was delivered recently and has made its first trip with students. Again, Thank You Elk City!
