Parents:
If you drop your child off and you want them to eat breakfast. Please drop them off by 7:45. This will give them enough time to eat breakfast and return to class in a timely manner. Thank you.
On April 10th the ECE Honor Choir traveled to Cordell for the Cordell Choir Festival. For the first time, ECE Honor Choir members were able to sign up to take a solo separate from the choir portion of the contest that day.
These 12 students came in an additional 30 minutes each week leading up to contest to prepare their solo with Mrs. Jung.
All 12 students received a superior rating on their solo with 5 being selected as an outstanding solo for their solo room that day.
Congratulations to these students for taking the initiative and excelling in their musical endeavors! It’s a great time to be in THE Brown and White!

Our first graders made encouraging bookmarks for our third graders ahead of state testing! We’re cheering you on!!! 📚✨

It is Administrative Assistant Day! If you have called the school this year then there is a good chance you were fortunate to interact with our awesome secretaries! Mrs. Katie McCoy, Patti Hinds, and Tara Fite do an outstanding job day in and day out of keeping the school running smoothly. They take hundreds of phone calls a day and always get the information where it needs to go. Truly the glue that keeps everything together and we are thankful for them!

Let's get on the basketball court, little elks. See you May 18 & 19th!

On April 10th, the ECE Honor Choir traveled to the Cordell Choir Festival. They performed 2 songs for a panel of judges and received straight superior ratings (the highest rating a music performance can receive at contest). In addition, they were selected as the outstanding elementary choir of the day. They were also selected as one of only two choirs to receive the Outstanding Choir of the day from the whole contest being selected over intermediate, junior high, and high school age choirs who also performed that day. The other group to receive this honor was the ECIS Honor Choir.
We are so incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication of the ECE Honor Choir. They showed true professionalism, musicianship, and character. They truly showed what it means to be #FOR the Brown and White.

Congratulations to Josiah Jimenez for mastering his addition and subtraction facts. Mrs. Luttmer is so proud of you!

We had the opportunity to watch a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis right before our eyes!

Kindergarten Music Program for tonight has been cancelled
Mrs. Horton's class filled their reward jar by being the first/quietest class in from recess, getting a compliment from another teacher, or beating their teacher in the weekly behavior game! This was no easy feat, and they got to celebrate with a glow day! 🤩🌟

National Assistant Principal week was upon us the last few days! We are thankful for Mr. Foale and all the many hats that he wears. He is an asset not only to our school, but our entire district with the many jobs he performs. Thank you for your continued effort in all things!

National Librarian Day was April 4th so we are a little behind. We are blessed with the best! Mrs. Schones does an outstanding job of creating an atmosphere that is second to none. She leads STEAM lessons and hosts multiple book fairs a year, with the recent spring book fair being a major success! Thank you again for all that you do Mrs. Schones!
