Parents:
If you drop your child off and you want them to eat breakfast. Please drop them off by 7:45. This will give them enough time to eat breakfast and return to class in a timely manner. Thank you.

🌎🐾 GT Student Research Showcase! 🐾🌎 Parents, if you’re coming for Parent-Teacher Conferences this Thursday afternoon, be sure to stop by and check out the amazing display created by our Second and Third Grade GT students! The display will be located in the main entrance area right after you come through the doors. Our GT students have been busy researching, learning, and designing trifold projects all about an endangered species of their choosing. They’ve worked incredibly hard and creatively to make each project their own—discovering why these animals are endangered, sharing important information, and including several fun facts along the way. Please take a moment to explore their hard work and celebrate their learning. They are excited to share what they’ve discovered! 🐢🦋🦁 Here’s a few favorite quotes we enjoyed from a few conversationalists! “We don’t own the planet Earth, we belong to it. And we must share it with our wildlife.” – Steve Irwin, renowned Australian wildlife expert and conservationist. “We all have a responsibility to protect endangered species, both for their sake and for the sake of our own future generations.” – Loretta Lynch, the former United States Attorney General. “Fortunately, nature is amazingly resilient: places we have destroyed, given time and help, can once again support life, and endangered species can be given a second chance. And there is a growing number of people, especially young people, who are aware of these problems and are fighting for the survival of our only home, planet Earth. We must all join that fight before it is too late.” – renowned English primatologist Jane Goodall on the threats of biodiversity.

We were hosts to a VIP today! Mrs. Laurie Ross came to read to Mrs. Gilliland's and Mrs. Ellis's classes. She read "The Monster at the End of This Book", which is a PK favorite--especially because Mrs. Ross does the best Grover impression ever! #FortheBrownandWhite #ReadAcrossAmerica

Ms. C Reyes' first graders took learning outside and turned math into a sunshine adventure! Students rolled a dice to see how many sides their shape would have, then used colorful chalk to draw their 2D creations on the sidewalk. From triangles to hexagons, the afternoon was filled with bright shapes, big smiles, and lots of counting! Nothing beats learning geometry while soaking up the warmer weather and fresh air. ☀️📐🌈
