Just a reminder we will be out all of next week for Thanksgiving Break! 🦃

FOR awards were recognized today! Once again, teachers and students will be recognized periodically for their contributions and constant mindset of being FOR the Brown and White. Today's praise came via lunch for our awesome Specials (Music & P.E.) teachers (Coach Brooks, Mrs. Pierce, Mrs. Jung, and Coach Peffer). In addition to what they bring to the table each and every day, they also go above and beyond to help in other ways. They help with schedules, drive busses, and are tirelessly striving to do what's best FOR our littles. Thank you for making a difference and making that difference every day!

"A principal who reads is a leader who inspires!” The second mystery reader for Ms. Simon’s 2nd grade class was one of our very own, Mr. Fisher. He read a story and brought the book to life. It’s alway extra special when it’s someone they see daily and look up to.

Pre-K is Thankful for lots of things! What are you thankful for? #live #learn #grow at Elk City Elementary.

Pre-K and kindergarten families worked together with their students on a project. They were asked to disguise a turkey so that the turkey would not be eaten for Thanksgiving! Here are some excellent art pieces that are definitely NOT turkeys!

🇺🇸 A big thank you to Dee Reyes, father of two of our teachers, for visiting our students and sharing about his service in the U.S. Army this Veterans Day. We are so grateful for his time, stories, and dedication — and for all who have served our country! ❤️💙

Happy Veterans Day! Thank you for your services 🇺🇸

District-wide picture retake day is this Friday, Nov 14!
Teachers will be reaching out to parents if their child needs to retake pictures.
Research shows that reading aloud is the most important thing you can do to help your child prepare for reading and learning. Take the 30 Day Challenge and post your photos using #FOR the Brown & White
