As we get ready for P/T Conferences tonight from 3:30 - 9:00, I wanted to share examples of the bright future that exists for the community of Elk City. On several occasions while entering schools with my hands full, I have had doors held open for me by students. This has happened at multiple school buildings. We would like to introduce our new head girls basketball coach here at
Elk City, Mason Jones. Coach Jones comes to us by way of Panhandle, Texas. She is a graduate of SWOSU in Weatherford. This Wednesday, May 21st she will meet with all of our incoming 7-12th basketball girl's in Pioneer Center Gym at 5:00 pm. After that we will have a 7-12th parents / EC Basketball Booster Club meeting in the ECHS commons at 6:00 pm. Let's give a big Elk City welcome to Coach Jones !!!
Congratulations to Kaesli Gonzales for qualifying for the 4-A State Cross Country Meet !!! She will be competing this coming Saturday, Oct. 25th in Shawnee, Ok !! Good luck !!

The Elk City Elkette Softball team will host 4-A Super Regional Tournament vs Poteau this Wednesday, and Thursday. Wednesday games will be at 11 am and 1 pm, if game on Thursday at Noon. Please remember you can go online at OSSAA Gofan to purchase tickets, or you can purchase tickets at the gate for $10. Thank you for your cooperation, and Go Elkettes !!!
