ECPS is monitoring the weather very closely. A recent forecast shows storms developing after 4:00 p.m. Parents have every right to check your student out early. Bus routes would be adjusted should a storm develop that impacts student safety. ECPS will continue to monitor the weather and provide any updates as necessary.

This Thursday, May 2nd, and Friday May 3rd ECHS baseball will host a 4-A super regional at home vs Mannford. Games on Thursday will be at 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm. If game on Friday will be at 1:00 pm. Please remember you can purchase tickets online at the OSSAA Gofan site for $7.00 with fees. Or you can purchase tickets at the gate for $10. The ONLY pass that will be excepted is the OSSAA play off pass. Thank you for your cooperation.
Due to the tornado damage in the Ardmore area, our 4-A Regional Track meet has been moved to Moore High School tomorrow, Monday April 29th. Field events have been moved back to 10:30 am, and running events will start at 10:45 am. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the citizens of Oklahoma that have been effected by the storms. The Oklahoma Children's Theatre visited Elk City Elementary to perform Oklahoma's Own for second-grade students. The show shared interesting facts, famous people, and the history of Oklahoma in an interactive game show setting. Students had fun learning about Oklahoma. Elk City Public Schools received a generous gift on Wednesday, April 17. Mr. Sean Cummings traveled from Oklahoma City to continue to honor his late wife's wishes. Cathy always wanted to support schools and make a difference in the lives of others. Mr. Cummings presented Child Nutrition Director, Jacy Dyson, with a donation that paid in full, any outstanding lunch bill owed by a student. Elk City Public Schools would like to thank Mr. Cummings for sharing his mission with us! What You Do Matters!
