4-A Regional info

This Thursday and Friday we will be hosting a 4-A Regional softball tournament. All Elk City 7-12th grade students will be FREE, compliments of a local business (anonymous). Attached is a 4-A bracket, and ticket info for all other patrons. All tickets will have to be purchased online at OSSAA.COM Gofan. Please come out and support our Elkette softball team.

Elk City Softball is hosting the Class 4A Regional on Thursday and Friday. Parents of ECES students may experience some additional traffic when picking up your child during the Early Release / Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday.

Todays ECHS district softball games at St Mary's have been postponed until tomorrow. Game time tomorrow Wednesday, Sept. 20th will be at 2:30 pm.

Come out this afternoon and support our ECHS Softball team as they take on Bethany today at 5:00 pm. Following the game around 6:45 pm we will celebrate Senior night. Thanks for your support.

Our first burger day with local beef was a huge success! Huge shout out to our maintenance staff, Mr. Moran & Mr. Shelton and local TTS employees for volunteering their time for our students! Thank you to Route 66 Meat Processing & Market for helping make this happen for our district!

We are excited to be serving our first round of Local Farm 2 School Beef tomorrow for lunch! Our students and staff are in for a treat! 🍔

Tomorrow morning, Tuesday Sept. 12th we will take take 2023 EC football homecoming pictures at the HS in front of the Elk statue; 9:30 am. All football players that are involved please wear brown game jerseys. Female candidates/ class reps please wear white EC t shirts. Thanks for cooperation.

New seating at Big Elk Stadium is nearing completion. Reserve seating is available for renewal until August 29, 2023. Reserved seating will go on sale to the public August 30, 2023. Reserve your seats now for Big Elk Football. Great To Be In "The Brown & White"

The football game at Altus on Friday, August 25, will not kickoff until 8:00 p.m. The game time has been changed for Elk City @ Altus due to forecasted temperatures. Great To Be in "The Brown & White"

Parents / Guardians if you're not seeing the Rooms feature in the bottom right hand corner of your ECPS App, you need to update your app. The update should resolve any issues you might have connecting to your child's classrooms. Please do not hesitate to contact ECPS should you need assistance.

Elk City Child Nutrition is once again excited to serve your children! Just a reminder that meals are no longer free for everyone. We need you to fill out a Free/Reduced Meal Application. You can apply here: https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application. This application does much more than provide free or reduced meals for our students. It also determines the amount of funding our district receives from various agencies at the state and federal level. REDUCED LUNCH: $.40 REDUCED BREAKFAST: $.30 ECES & ECIS LUNCH: $2.25 MS & HS LUNCH: $2.50 ALL BREAKFAST: $1.75 Meals can be paid for by sending money with your student or at www.myschoolbucks.com - you will need your child's student ID number.

The first round of guardian invites have been sent out and the Rooms feature is now live on the Elk City Schools App. Invites will be sent out via email every other day for the next 7 days. After that, invites will come in the form of text messages. The invite will come from Apptegy and the chance to adjust the password for Edurooms. The Rooms feature will allow teachers, students and parents / guardians to communicate. PowerSchool is also accessible in the Elk City Schools App. The new Elk City Schools App lets you keep up with everything about Elk City Schools in one place. Great to be in "The Brown & White"

The Rooms feature for the new Elk City Public Schools App is not yet active. The changes have been submitted and the feature is coming soon. The Rooms feature will allow teachers, parents and students to communicate through the new Elk City Schools App.
