The Oklahoma Children's Theatre visited Elk City Elementary to perform Oklahoma's Own for second-grade students. The show shared interesting facts, famous people, and the history of Oklahoma in an interactive game show setting. Students had fun learning about Oklahoma. Wishing our third graders good luck, the ECHS Drum Line and our PreK-2nd graders cheered them on before they embarked on their first state test with a parade filled with personalized banners and songs.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Oklahoma State Tests for our third grade students. As they embark on this important milestone, we want to encourage them to remember their hard work and dedication.
Mr. Sparks shared a story that reminded the students of the efforts they have already put forth to reach this moment. He encouraged them to keep pushing forward and give their best during the next few days.
As a school, we will be with them every step of the way, cheering them on and supporting them. We believe that our students have the talent and grit to succeed, and we are confident that they will shine in the coming days!
