Yearbooks

Hello parents/guardians! The school year is well underway and it’s time to make sure our staff knows that they have our support and the resources our kids need access to to give them a solid foundation for current and future success.
We will have our initial volunteer meeting in the school library at 5:30. Please come by to know how we are helping our staff and be introduced to how you can join in your child’s education journey at ECE!
If you have more questions please look up our Elk City Elementary PTO Facebook page.

🚨WEST DISMISSAL CHANGE 🚨
Beginning Monday, August 28th, 2nd&3rd grade students will be dismissing simultaneously using the 2nd grade car line. The 3rd grade car line will not be used and will be coned off.

Chefs in Mrs. Goode's class are serving up the main idea and details of a story.

All across 2nd and 3rd grade this week, students will be learning place value. Place Value is a skill children learn very early on and continue the learning process throughout their education.
Students are playing a game where Ms. Busby is trying to guess their numbers using place value.
Mrs. Carnahan's students are adding place value notes to their interactive math journals.
Ask your child about their place value learning this week.

13th Annual Fit & Fun

Thank you for your patience during dismissal these first few days.
If you have multiple children at the elementary, they may be picked up from either wing. We have several families dismissing from the west, causing our 2nd&3rd grade lines to be much longer.
Additionally, if your child is riding the bus for the first time, please verify the bus your child will need to ride and let our office staff know the bus number and bus stop. We want your child to make it home safely.
