
Rhonda Smith with Interlink Mortgage came at the right time yet again. Not only was our staff treated to Sonic but also received a fun "carrot" snack. It was much needed and appreciated as Easter Break has officially arrived! Thanks again!

Throwback to all the great things happening at our Antler Alert last week!
We were able to celebrate March Lions Cubs of the Month!

We saw a presentation from Ty Cloud with ONG! Students learned the ins and outs of calling before you dig and all the different underground lines that exist. They were also versed up on the smells of different gasses and flame colors. It was very educational for all of our students!
4th grade multiplication madness winners were crowned and Tucker Phillips took home the top spot!

One Church Staff of the Week spotlighted our paraprofessionals and librarian. Mrs. Eslinger, Mrs. Harris, Mrs. McWilliams, Ms. Patterson, and Mrs. McConnell are all instrumental in the daily lives of our students. They are constantly giving support and guidance to all the friends they come into contact with. They serve the school in countless ways and they are appreciated far more than they know!

We had an incredible Antler Alert this morning!
Our Middle School cheerleading squad along with Coaches Burge and Bonner came and showed our Intermediate students what hard work and dedication looks like in action!
We recognized Sawyer Hebert and TJ Hardin as the OPAA! winners for their meal creation. They are now competing to get their meal on the menu for all OPAA! schools. So proud of them and the work they put into this!

This week's teacher of the week goes to Mrs. Cupp! Mrs. Cupp is always seeking to learn new ways to teach her students. She works hard to ensure that the activities done are rich in content and engaging for students. The work she puts into learning shows her dedication to student growth and to her personal growth as an educator. This week's Teacher of the Week went to Mrs. Noblitt! Mrs. Noblitt is an exceptional teacher and person. She is always willing to do anything that will help her students see success. With constant drive to learn and willingness to lead, Mrs. Noblitt's success ranges from every student she teaches to staff members throughout our building. Student growth and achievement is a top priority to both her and her students. We are so thankful that she is at Elk City Intermediate! Congratulations, Mrs. Noblitt!

A large majority of our students in 5th and 6th grade made Green Club for their math classes as well!
There were even some new awards introduced regarding students and their positive behavior on bus routes. These were awarded to:
Gabby Morales, Jill Oliveira, Riley Scott, Paisley Brown, Olivia Syribouth, Kimberly Soto, Draivyn Hicks, Kevin Gonzales, Camilla Reyes, Jerome Gonzales, and Cage Vidaurri
Certain students were awarded for going above and beyond to help while on the bus. These were deemed the “What You Do Matters” awards:

The One Church Teacher of the Week was Mrs. Burton! We are so thankful for the calm and even-keeled demeanor she brings day in and day out. She does a great job of consistently modeling the skills for her students. She also takes that a step further and ensures students are mastering the content. She embodies what it means to be an educator and we are thankful she does so at ECIS!
