Congratulations to Intermediate School Cafeteria Manager, Allison Kauk, for placing 2nd in the bulletin board contest during National School Lunch Week! Allison works incredibly hard to make our cafeteria a welcoming and fun place for all of our students each day. We are so proud of her and all she does for our kids! Kicking off Red Ribbon and Halloween week with a throwback to last week! We had 4th Grade IXL winners: Riya Patel & Daleyza Acosta Endurance Federal Credit Union had sponsored a pumpkin art drawing competition a few weeks back. The 2nd Place winner ended up being 6th Grader Elizabeth Snyder! Mountain Man's Attendance Award Winners: 4th Grade: Mrs. James' class 5th Grade: Ms. Sanders/Mrs. Burton's class 6th Grade: Mrs. Cloud's class The One Church Teacher of the Week was Mrs. Sanders. She has made our campus better the minute she stepped foot on it. She is consistently leading engaging lessons. She allows data to shape her instruction and makes sure all students are growing. She is a wealth of knowledge that we are fortunate to have with us at ECIS! Congrats once again to Mrs. Sanders!

The 1st Place winner was 6th Grader Zoey Lemus! Mountain Man's Attendance Award Winners: 4th Grade: Mrs. Bruner's class 5th Grade: Mr. Hickey's class 6th Grade: Mr. Earls class The One Church Teacher of the Week was Mrs. Ball. We are so fortunate that Mrs. Ball joined our team last year. She does so many different things and keeps her classroom lively as a result! There is never a time to be bored because there is always something fun going on! She makes writing enjoyable to the students and incorporates a vast number of redirects to ensure that the students stay on task. The students adore her, evident by the fact that they all hopped in to take the picture with her. Congrats once again to Mrs. Ball!

Unity Day!! Coming to a campus near you tomorrow!!

There was so much to celebrate last week at ECIS! First we celebrated 5th Grade IXL winners for ELA: Andre Foster & Anik Patel We were then able to honor the September and October Lions Cubs of the Month: Julian Syribouth & Halle Shockey (September) Gatlin Brittain & Serenity Miller (October) We recognized members of the 4th grade youth football team as well as the 5th/6th grade team. They both have had outstanding seasons thus far! Also, the latest Mountain Man award winners for attendance: 4th Grade: Mrs. Dunn's class 5th Grade: Ms. Soto's class 6th Grade: Mrs. Pollard's class The One Church Staff of the Week was our custodians! October 2nd was National Custodians Day and we were so glad that we could recognize them. Mrs. Dolores, Mrs. Daniella and Mrs. Gloria are the absolute best! They work so hard for ALL of our students and teachers. They take care of us and make sure our campus is always so well maintained. Thank you once again and congratulations! *A reminder that Wednesday is early dismissal and then it is FALL BREAK!

HUGE Thank You to Endurance Federal Credit Union for catering a Rib Crib baked potato bar for all of our teachers on parent teacher conference night. It was delicious and VERY appreciated! It's great to be in The Brown & White!

Mrs. Page is a foundational piece of what we have here at ECIS. She provides a multitude of services at our campus and always remains flexible! The students benefit greatly from all the different ways in which she teaches them on a daily basis. She also ensures that all of our students show grow! Ms. Soto has moved up a grade but her consistency remains the same! She leads a classroom that is constantly engaged and on task. High expectations are a given in her class and she makes sure those expectations are upheld by each and every student. She is also one that never wavers in her pursuit of excellence! Congratulations Ms. Soto!

Mrs. Ragan makes sure her music classes are always engaging and fun! The projects that she comes up with are always a hit with the students! She also does an incredible job with our ECIS Honor Choir, evident by their selection to perform as an Honor Group at the 2025 OkMEA Winter Conference in Tulsa. Congratulations Mrs. Ragan!

Our first Antler Alert of the year and we made sure to kick it off right! The usual awards were handed out and accomplishments recognized! We had our first Mountain Man Attendance Award winners: 4th Grade: Mrs. Noblitt's Class 5th Grade: Mrs. Sanders Class 6th Grade: Mrs. Williams Class The One Church Teacher of the Week is Mrs. Williams! Mrs. Williams is always operating a classroom that uses fun interactive learning! Her classroom is one that students desire to be in, as it consistently has hands on learning and a fun atmosphere. She is also in charge of the GT program where she does an outstanding job! Congratulations Mrs. Williams!

Bus evacuation drills went off without a hitch the other day with Coach Stamm and Coach Varnell. Our students are well versed in everything they will need to know should an emergency situation ever arise while on the bus! It's What We Do! #Lead #Learn #Grow

More information for 5th and 6th Grade Band Students: This Thursday, August 22nd is our Annual Band Ice Cream Social. Come to the Pioneer Center Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. for ice cream and information. This is an informal family event and all members of the family are invited. The High School Band students will perform some of their 2024 show selections and our Band Booster officers will offer information on how you can become a member.
