The first semester overall Mountain Man's Attendance Award winners were Mrs. Bruner's class, Mrs. Hopper's Class and Mrs. Sanders class. Here are just a few pictures from the pizza parties they were awarded. Thank you to the Spieker family and their team at Mountain Man's for supplying this awesome reward! We love our community!

Nothing like a little Sonic to help wrap up the first semester! Ronda Smith with Interlink Mortgage was kind enough to give our teachers an early gift for the holidays! We love our community!
As always it's a great day to be in The Brown and White!

We are excited to share a glimpse into what all we have accomplished at Elk City Intermediate School!

5th Grade Advisory kids have put in excellent work to publish their ECIS Antler Alert Newsletters. Hot off the press our students have been able to go and introduce themselves to Mr. Sparks and let him preview their work. They have also been able to stop by the Chamber of Commerce. Amazing group of students, much teamwork, lots of creativity, and dedication went into this project. #Learn#Lead#Grow

Antler Alert gave us more things to celebrate this week. We crowned more Mountain Man's Attendance Award winners! 4th Grade: Mrs. Dunn's Class 5th Grade: Mrs. Hopper's Class 6th Grade: Mrs. Williams Class Our One Church Teachers of the Week were Mrs. James and Mrs. Sanders! They are both phenomenal at creating a learning environment that is second to none for our students. They each use a variety of methods to teach their ELA curriculum. This is evident with task cards and choice boards for Mrs. James and the movement and group work of Mrs. Sanders. They are both blessings to the profession! Congratulations once again!

Congratulations to our 6th grade academic team, who are also coached by Amy Murphy, for their 2nd place finish at the meet today in Clinton!

From the everyday energy and smiles from Mrs. Bruner, to the chill and relaxing way of Mr. Hickey, we are so fortunate to have both of these teachers! They have both been so diligent in instilling a love for reading to our students. This is evident with things like Feet Up Friday with Mrs. Bruner or Reading Bingo with Mr. Hickey! Congratulations to the both of you and thank you for making ECIS great!

Mrs. Noblitt was awarded a Golden Apple, honoring all of the incredible things she has done and continues to do for students. To watch her teach is to be inspired! Her ability to teach to mastery, help every student grow, build relationships with every student, and lead and mentor teachers is beyond admirable. Dedication to what we do is vital for success and Mrs. Noblitt exudes not only dedication but also passion every day. This was well deserved! Congratulations, Mrs. Noblitt!
