They were: 4th Grade: Mrs. Bruner's class 5th Grade: Mrs. Thompson's class 6th Grade: Mrs. Cupp's class The One Church Teacher of the Week was Mr. Beach! Mr. Beach has been a welcomed new member to our team this year. He provides a multitude of services at our campus and always remains flexible! The students benefit greatly from all the different ways in which he teaches them on a daily basis. He is someone the students have much admiration for and it is evident by his daily interactions with them. Congratulations once again to Mr. Beach!

Our new lunch program rolled out today and we had very happy students! It was the topic all day long. Our cafeteria staff was absolutely exceptional and our students got every benefit of that work! Everything was fresh, made from scratch, and delicious! 2 comments heard, “They either had Pizza Hut delivered or got their recipe!” and “You weren’t lying, it really is amazing!” Our cafeteria manager, Allison, has embraced the change with excitement and enthusiasm! Her leadership is valued more than she will ever know. She and her team always want what is best for kids and they knocked it out of the park today! It’s great to be in The Brown and White!

GT students took a field trip to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art on Wednesday. The kids toured the Chihuly Exhibit and learned more about the art of glassblowing. The tour guides were so impressed with the kid's behavior, their knowledge of Chihuly, and how light is used by artists to show depth and dimension in their works. Students studied Chihuly last month during their GT class and were blown away seeing his work in person. It's what we do! #Learn #Lead #Grow

Our SROs are so valuable to our Intermediate School community. They directly impact our students and staff in the most positive, enthusiastic ways. These 2 support our teachers and administration in ways so many do not see. We could not ask for better people and they will never know (or allow us to tell them) just how much we love and appreciate them. So even though your treat was a day late, Happy SRO Day Officers Chaney and Valencia! We are blessed to have you! It’s always great to be in The Brown and White!

Flashback to a few days ago where we concluded a great week of honoring our school counselors, Mrs. Barnett and Mrs. Jones. The theme of the day was “Friendly Friday” so you could dress like a friend or teacher! We had some who are pictured below do a great job of matching! Also, Antler Alert saw more awards given out. The Mountain Man’s Attendance Award winners for this week: 4th Grade: Mrs. James Class 5th Grade: Mrs. Gilliland’s Class 6th Grade: Mrs. Cloud’s Class Our One Church Teacher of the Week was Mrs. Cloud. Mrs. Cloud is a phenomenal educator who always has new and improved ways of reaching each student that she comes into contact with. She is also quite the jokester and will never turn down the opportunity to earn a jeans pass! Mrs. Cloud is yet another one of our teachers who wears multiple hats at our site because of all the different committees she is on or in charge of. We are grateful to have educators like Mrs. Cloud at our site who continue to make a difference! Congratulations once again!
